The ITG-SCC will take place in the city of Karlsruhe, Germany. Karlsruhe is the third-largest city of the German state of Baden-Württemberg with approximately 308,000 inhabitants. Located on the right bank of the Rhine river near the French border, Karlsruhe is Germany's legal center and is home to the Federal Constitutional Court (Bundesverfassungsgericht), the Federal Court of Justice (Bundesgerichtshof) and the Public Prosecutor General of the Federal Court of Justice (Generalbundesanwalt beim Bundesgerichtshof). The nearest airport is Baden Airpark (Flughafen Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden), located about 45 km south of Karlsruhe. Frankfurt International Airport can be reached in about 1 hour by high-speed rail. Similary, Stuttgart Airport can be reached in about 90 minutes by train.
